Again another new author for me to read. I wasn't disappointed in this series. I loved how she showed the love this family had for each other plus the place in their lives that God shared. I will be reading more by this author
I loved reading all of these clean mail order bride books. It is part of our old west history. Now it's online dating, but so different. You can see and talk to each other. It must have been so scary to be desperate enough to travel far away to meet and marry a stranger.
Four well to do brothers need to find wives. Their father insists the oldest marry a smart girl so take care of the ranch books to see if they still are wealthy. But smart doesn't means she can keep the books. The second brother tries his chance next but through a mix up, they still do not have a bride that can act as bookkeeper for the ranch. One brother left and he gets the right one but is that all they want wives for?
This was nice reading about how helpful and important the love of a family. One of the characters had lost all close family and became very bitter and could not find the use for God in her own life. Yet the love of another family pulls her out of her own self pitty and helps her find the reason for living again.

I like stories that connect with each other. All of these reads connected to one family. They were three brothers and a father. They needed An accountant to know where the ranch stood money wise. They started to send for mail order brides. I enjoyed all of the stories.
These groups of stories are about the Adams family. The brains of the outfit Mrs. Adams had passed and these four gentlemen were so lost. Ben, Caleb, Daniel and their father Malcolm are facing a major problem and the only solution is for them to marry mail order brides. Now, this does not turn out just exactly how they all planed, but that is why this is a great group of books. This group of stories will bring you full circle and are very entertaining stories.
